“Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?” by Eric Carle and Bill Martin Jr. is great read, especially for this winter season. The book showcases different zoo animals and the sounds they make, and presents them in big pictures and vibrant colors.
This book has become one of my go to books to read at storytime because the story can be build up in a fun and interactive way. I highly recommend this book because it’s a big crowd-pleaser. Kids and parents alike will enjoy it ’til the end.
“Adrift, An Odd Couple of Polar Bears” by Jessica Olien is the story of two polar bear that are as opposite as the north and south pole. They actually kind of dislike each other and are always criticizing each other. Then something unimaginable happens and the bears end up having to spend some time together.
This polar bear story quickly develops into a friendship tale and it’s the perfect example of how you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Hope you enjoy this read!
